Getting Ready for Your Appointment
Pay Your Deposit:
If the glass for your new windshield was special ordered, we require a 20% nonrefundable deposit upfront. You will receive instructions about how to pay your deposit from our scheduling team.
Inclement Weather:
In case of rain or high winds, your appointment may need to be rescheduled. Please let us know if you have a garage or a covered area for us to perform your windshield replacement.
Camera Recalibration:
Any cameras on your vehicle may need to be recalibrated after your new windshield is installed. Good Vibes does not provide this service.
Drive Right Away!
After your new windshield is installed, you can drive right away, no matter the weather! We just ask that you keep any tape on your windshield for up to 7 days.

Can I Drive My Car After My Windshield Replacement?
After your windshield replacement, you can get out and drive your vehicle immediately! We just ask that you keep any tape secured on your windshield for up to one week.
What are sensors?
Sensors on your vehicle may allow it to detect rain and other changes in your environment. They would be located near your rear-view mirror. We need to identify these sensors on your vehicle to ensure you get the right windshield replacement service for you.
Examples of sensors include: Rain, Heat, Lane Departure, and Hazard Detection
Does my vehicle have a sensor?
If you’re not sure whether your vehicle may have a sensor, you can snap a picture of your windshield and send it to us via email or text message. Take a picture of the area behind your rear-view mirror, near the top of your windshield. We’ll let you know if a sensor is present. It is best if your full windshield is visible in the photo too!
Is it legal to drive with a broken windshield?
According to Section 80(a) of the Rules of the Road Regulation:
“A person shall not drive a vehicle on a highway if the view through the windshield or windows of the vehicle is so obscured by mud, frost, steam or any other thing so as to make the driving of the vehicle hazardous or dangerous.”
The Calgary Police make frequent callouts on their social media too. “Are cracks in the windshield affecting your visibility? …We have a responsibility to ensure vehicles meet safety standards and comply with the Traffic Safety Act.”
Don’t leave a ticket up to chance. If you’re in doubt, get that windshield replaced!
